Today I’d like to tell you all about the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation from Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. I wanted a new foundation and this was on my whishlist, so I went to Sephora to test it. There are lots of shades available for this foundation and I thought it would take me a while to find my match, but it actually was pretty easy.

It took me more to decide between these two very similar shades, only one was neutral and the other one had a yellow undertone. I applied them on my face, walked around the store for 30 minutes and watched myself in the mirror from time to time and see how they looked. Finally I took the neutral one because I liked how it looked more.

Of course that everytime I buy a new foundation, I have to try it on for a while to see if I made the best choice. I’ve been testing it for a while, for everyday makeup and also in the evening at an event. I’ve used two application methods, with the brush and beauty blender to see how it looks. I never apply my foundation with the fingers, I don’t like the effect and I don’t like to feel it on my hands. Also, I think a lot of product gets wasted because it remains on the hands.

I have to say that I like the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte foundation. A lot! It’s been a while since I was so pleased with a foundation.

What I like about it:

  1. You have 40 shades to chose from, and that’s an advantage because it’s so much easy to find your perfect shade. For me it was. And I don’t think I had a foundation that matched my face so well, as this one.
  2. It has medium to high coverage and you don’t need much to cover your entire face.
  3. It sets pretty well with the beauty blender, but also with the brush. So you can opt for either one.
  4. It lasts all day. I wore it for an entire day without any touch up, and I liked how it looked at the end of the day. The most important thing was that my T zone wasn’t as shinny as it was when I used other foundations.

The price is pretty decent, from my point of view. It costs 150 lei. I’ll also show you a few pictures with the Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation, used for day and night makeup.
