Two years ago we welcomed Luca. I will always remember…
Let me tell you how we ended up buying the wobbel board. We had no intentions of buying one just yet, because we didn’t think it would be of some interest for Luca, especially at this age.
Last year we went to an anniversary at this playground and we thought it was an excellent opportunity to see what toys he liked. They also had the board and he actually played with it there.
Also his birthday was coming up in November and we had no idea what gift to buy him, because we wanted a toy that would be of interest more than a week or two. Meanwhile we went to that playground for a few play visits and he discovered that board again. So we decided to buy him one for his birthday, because it’s the kind of “toy” that he will use for a long time. We searched a little online and apparently there are more brands that produce these kind of boards, but we chose the one from Wobbel.
Why? First of all because they have the starter board, which is easier to lift and is less curved. He can move it around the house easily, the risk of injuries is smaller and we can always move to the next size if this won’t be enough.
He was so happy when he received it, he was anxious unwrap the box, then he took it for a spin. We wanted to discover it himself and find ways to play with it. He turns is around and makes a car bridge, then he turns it back and moves the cars along the board, sometimes he lays on his tummy and swings or he just sits on it to relax. And I’m sure that there will be so many ways to use it, and a lot to discover.
I must say that we enjoy it as well, the problem is that he won’t let us. He’s a selfish little guy, I don’t know when he gets it from 😉 The board supports up to 100 kg so it’s safe for adults also.
We bought it from Little Bandit website, you’ll find them all there.
