THE MAKE-UP I WORE AT BAPTISM
We waited for spring so we could schedule baby Luca’s…
Look how time flies! We are already two months old, so I wanted to write a few words about our little adventures and also about the products I use for baby Luca.
In his first month he used to sleep most of the day, but now his daily routine has changed a little. He’s awake more and very curious about what’s around him. In the past two weeks he gets up at 8.30 in the morning and he’s very active and happy. We play for a while and at 10.30 he goes to sleep again. Usually at 12.00-13.00 we go outside for our daily walk and if it’s sunny we spend an hour or more out.
In the afternoon, besides eating and sleeping he stays awake for another hour or two and in the evening, around 20.00-21.00, it’s time for massage and bath.
Luca eats only breast milk and I’m happy with that. He eats every 3 hours, sometimes even earlier but I hope we will adjust as he grows.
We bought all the products for massage and baths while I was pregnant because we wanted to have everything ready once the baby comes. We bought all products from Mustela: cleansing gel, foam shampoo, body lotion and massage oil.
Meanwhile, our baby developed an easy form of atopic dermatitis and our pediatrician recommended other products for him. So we switched to Avene Xeracalm: cleansing oil and body lotion. It worked very well and we’re almost done with this dermatitis.
Also, because it’s cold and his face is dry we use Lipobase Repair cream everyday before going outside and also in the evening after his bath. It’s very good, it protects his skin against cold weather and keeps it hydrated.
We clean the eyes with saline solution and use it also for his nose, when necessary.
The buttocks stays protected with Bephanten, it’s perfect for him.
