REVIEW | THE ORDINARY FOUNDATION
I heard about The Ordinary brand by watching a few…
One of the main problems during pregnancy is the appearance of stretch marks. Your growing baby bump affects the skin because it stretches and if it’s not properly hydrated you might get these unwanted signs.
I asked my friends that already had babies, I also searched on the internet for reviews and I finally chose something to use these months for preventing stretch marks: Mustela Oil.
I chose this product because I wanted something safe for the baby and Mustela product ingredients are especially chosen to be safe for both mother and baby.
For example, the following ingredients have been excluded from their products:
– Parabens, phenoxyethanol
– Halogenated derivatives (Chlorphenesin and Triclosa, for example, which can be irritants and cause allergies)
– Alcohol, which when used as a solvent helps substances to be absorbed into the skin
– Essential oils which can be irritants and cause allergies

How did it work for me
I used it since month 4 of pregnancy every evening before going to bed. You’ll see that at some point you’ll feel the need to hydrate your skin because the bump starts to get itchy as it grows and stretches the skin.
It hydrates really well and I felt my skin elastic and ready for what’s coming next. I also tried their cream, I had a few samples but I personally prefer the oil.
I’m pleased with the results so far, my skin feels and looks good and I hope to get through this without any stretch marks.
