REVIEW | THE ORDINARY FOUNDATION
I heard about The Ordinary brand by watching a few…
I noticed there are lots of girls out there who are having problems with their skin dryness. When we are facing with dry skin issues, we’re also having problems with our makeup, especially with foundation. I’m sure all of you noticed that when you have flaky skin it shows even more with foundation on.
When I don’t drink enough water my skin tends to get dry and I hate it, especially because I like putting makeup on my face everyday. One day I went to Sephora and they had a few sales for selected products. I discovered the MUFE HD Elixir, which promised to boost the skin’s hydration levels and make it last throughout the day. It had 30% off, if I remember correctly, and I thought to give it a try.
I must say that this product doesn’t replace my daily skincare routine and I still use moisturiser and also eye cream everyday. I use the HD Elixir only when I notice that my skin is drier than usual.
How do I use it?
I just use one pump for my whole face and I simply massage it into the skin. It has a lightweight formula and it’s not greasy at all. If you want you can apply a moisturiser after the serum to make sure your skin is really hydrated.
I apply the foundation right after the serum and for me it works pretty well. My skin is instantly hydrated and the foundation looks good all day long.
I’m sure there are similar and more affordable products on the market that do the same thing for your skin. So if you’re having trouble with dry skin, look for a face serum, it might do wonders. I bought this one only because it was on sale and I’ve been pleased with MUFE’s products so far.
Let me know what are your tricks for getting rid of extra dry skin?
