TODAY’S LOOK | VALENTINE
I had a simple makeup in mind for Valentine’s Day,…
My friend had the company Christmas party this week so I did her makeup. I wanted something different for her, something different than what she’s used to.
I did a bold look for the eyes and I think that the cat eye style makes them appear longer.
I highlighted the inner corners using Melon pigment from MAC. Because the eye makeup was a first for her, I didn’t go crazy with the lower lids. Black eyeliner for the waterline and a subtle light brown as eyeshadow, but you can barely see it.
The eyes are the focus point of this makeup so it would be too much to go for a dark lipstick. I used a mix of lipsticks to achieve the perfect colour: Fast Play + Viva Glam II + Pretty Please. All of them are from MAC.
On her face, I used a primer then foundation to even out her skin tone and also concealer to hide the dark circles. I contoured the cheekbones, forehead and also the nose, to give structure to the face. I also applied a little bit of blush and powder illuminator.
If your Christmas party is coming up, this would be a great makeup look so you’d better start practising
