TODAY’S LOOK | VALENTINE
I had a simple makeup in mind for Valentine’s Day,…
As you probably saw in the last post, we spent last week in Nice for our summer holiday I will tell you more about our week in a future post.
Meanwhile, I want to share with you the lovely photo shoot that we did in Sanremo. We spent a beautiful day there and besides sightseeing, I decided to also do a summer makeup, easy to do and perfect for holiday!
Sanremo is known as a tourist destination of the Italian Riviera. It is a lovely city, very quiet where the people seemed very relaxed.
Sanremo is also known through the Sanremo Music Festival, a very popular song contest that had its first edition in 1951. It is actually the festival that inspired Eurovision Song Contest, which started in 1956.
The makeup I wore is inspired from the 90’s. I used yellow eyeshadow for the eyelid and blue eyeliner for the waterline. And the famous italian eyeliner à la Sophia Loren couldn’t miss, of course 😀
How to achieve this look:
First prepare your skin, with base and foundation. I applied the foundation with F80 Flat Kabuki Brush by Sigma.
Moving on to the eyes, I’ve applied an eyeshadow primer, with my fingertips. Using a shadow brush, F55 by Sigma, I applied the yellow shade on my entire eyelid. Then I blended the edges on the crease with a blending brush.
On the waterline, I used a blue kohl pencil, and the final touch is the black eyeliner. You can use a gel eyeliner with a brush or a liquid eyeliner. I finished the eyes makeup with mascara.
To finish the look, I used a little bit of blush on my cheeks and illuminator on my cheek bones and under my brows.
On the lips I chose a pink lipstick, because I wanted a colourful and summerish look
If you’re wondering what products I used for the eyes, I will list them below:
1. Electric Palette by Urban Decay
2. Bourjois Kohl and Contour Pencil (No. 85)
3. Sephora Liquid Eyeliner
I hope you like it and you’ll use this makeup look soon!
