TODAY’S LOOK | VALENTINE
I had a simple makeup in mind for Valentine’s Day,…
Today I want to show you an evening makeup that I made for a beautiful girl. It’s inspired by the oriental makeup, where the accent goes on the eyes and eyebrows.
It’s perfect for an evening out or even for a theme party or event. Here are the steps to achieve this makeup:
1. Start with the eyes
Use an eye primer, before applying the eyeshadows. Before moving on to the eyelids, choose your colours. You should begin from the inner corner of the eye where the lighter shade should be and go darker towards the outer corner.
Tip: to make the outer corner perfect, place a paper tissue making a line from the nose until the end of the eyebrow.
Highlight under the brow and below the eyeshadow at the outer corner of the eyes.
Move on to the eyeliner, that should be bold on the upper and lower lid. Smudge the eyeliner from the lower lid, using a brush.
Tip: Don’t worry if you make a mistake. Make sure you have some ear sticks and micellar water nearby
2. The eyebrows
Yes, you have to do something about the eyebrows, because they have to stand out! If you already have thick eyebrows just add a little bit of colour. If you’re the owner of thin eyebrows, then you should try to slightly thicken them. Don’t go crazy, though!
3. The face
Ok, here comes the easiest part! Apply your foundation primer using your fingers and then foundation, using a foundation brush. Move on to the concealer, then set both with powder. Then, apply your blush, which has to be subtle.
4. The lips
The lips should be veeery very light. Use a pink, nude or even gloss.
Let me know how it turned out for you!
