TODAY’S LOOK | PARTY
I tought about an evening makeup with really accentuated eyes.…
Roman philosopher Plautus: “A woman without paint is like food without salt.”
Of course, not all of us agree, but today the beauty industry gives us such possibilities and many many choices. In my opinion, a woman is not complete without enhancing her natural beauty and we should look beautiful every single day
Makeup brushes make our life sooo much easier and it’s a great investment. You can start up your collection piece by piece, by purchasing some basic brushes that you’ll use daily. After that you decide if you want more.
So, here they are, from my point of view The ones that I use are from Sigma, but it’s up to you what brand you will choose.
Face brushes:
1. Foundation brush – Flat Kabuki
I just love this brush! There are other choices, but for me this is the best. I simply put foundation on the back of my hand then I take the product on the tips of the brush and apply evenly all over the face. It makes foundation application so fast and easy
2. Powder brush
This brush is perfect for applying powder for face & body. You will certainly find this useful, most of all during summer when our skin is tanned and all we need is just a little bit of powder.
This is your perfect 2 in 1 cheeks brush: it can be used for contouring and also for blush application.
Eyes Brushes:
These are the ones that I use almost all the time:
1. Eye Shading
This brush helps you apply your eyeshadow evenly on the eyelid. This one is not a must, especially of you’re just beginning your brush case, but it’s nice to have. I use it a lot, especially for a quick everyday makeup.
This brush is AMAZING!! I use it a lot when creating an evening look which needs lot of crease blending. It’s absolutely a must have! I use it also for day by day makeup, when I want just a little pop for my eyes: I just take a little bit of brown shadow and I blend it on the crease and on my eyelid. Quick & easy
3. Small angle
This brush helps you create the perfect cat eye, but it can also be used for filling the brows (if you need it).
4. Pencil Brush
This is also one of my most used brushes. I use it a lot to soften the eyeshadow on the lower lid, again especially when creating an evening makeup. And it’s also perfect for highlighting the inner corner of the eye.
These are my most used makeup brushes and the ones that in my opinion should work just fine for everyday use but also for a special evening makeup. I really hope you find this useful and please let me know what are your favorite makeup brushes
Kisses, beautiful girls!
