REVIEW | MAC COSMETICS STUDIO FIX FOUNDATION
Sometimes I wonder why I keep buying Mac foundations over…
I’ve been a fan of Urban Decay products for almost a year, since I first heard of this beauty brand. My first product from them was the Naked 2 palette, which I absolutely love! Since I’ve been very pleased with it, when they announced the launch of Vice 3, I knew that I had to have it.
Let’s start with the packaging. I think it is very glamorous and it kinda prepares you for the marvellous colours you’ll find inside. It also comes with a zipper bag for storage, which you can use for other products if you like.
Now let’s open this beauty and see the colours! 😀 It has twenty exclusive and limited edition shades. The pigmentation is great, you don’t need to worry about that with Urban Decay.
So, the pluses with this palette:
1. Price: 56 Euros – which is actually a good price when you get 20 eyeshadows and a double-ended brush.
2. Neutrals: you wanted to buy some neutrals for day to day makeup? Problem solved! It’s the first row from the Vice 3 😀
3. Pigmentation: very good
4. Variety: you get neutrals, blues, reds and also greys with only one product
5. Travel makeup: it’s easier to take just one palette on holiday instead of more individuals. Or at least, that’s my opinion
The downside is that some of these shades are a little bit powdery, so you have to be careful about fallouts on the face, when applying. For these ones, I shake the brush a little bit, before applying it. And… that’s about it with the downsides for me.
I know you want to see it in action, so I’m going to show you two makeup looks using this palette. For the first one, I used Alchemy as a pop of colour.
And here’s the second one, where I used the Revolver.
